The all-round convenience and performance of the CCM663SR in-ceiling speaker makes it a standout in the Custom Installation range. The speaker pairs a 150mm (6in) dual voice-coil Aramid Fibre-coned bass/midrange driver with an offset array of two 25mm (1in) soft dome tweeters, delivering accurate and natural sound. Twin voice coils and tweeters merge the stereo signal, allowing for one speaker in an area without sound loss. A two-position stereo/surround switch enables this speaker to easily be used for surround audio.
Key Features:
2-way design
The CCM663SR features a 2-way design with a 6.5-inch woven Kevlar cone bass/midrange driver and a 1-inch aluminium dome tweeter. This combination provides a wide frequency response and high accuracy across the entire audible spectrum.
Swivel tweeter
The speaker's tweeter can be swivelled up to 35 degrees in any direction, allowing for precise placement and optimal sound dispersion.
Rotatable midrange/bass driver
The midrange/bass driver can also be rotated to adjust the sound direction, which is especially useful in rooms with non-standard speaker placement.
High sensitivity
The speaker has a high sensitivity of 88dB, which means it requires less power to achieve high volume levels.
Frequency response
The speaker has a frequency response of 45Hz to 50kHz, which is a wide range that covers the full spectrum of human hearing.
Power handling
The CCM663SR can handle up to 150 watts of power, making it suitable for use in larger rooms or for high-volume listening.
