The VEGA G2.2, featuring AURALiC's exclusive Direct Data Recording (DDR) technology, takes a groundbreaking approach to audio processing. Unlike traditional DACs using a Phase Lock Loop (PLL) circuit, the VEGA G2.2 bypasses the original clock signal, recording audio data directly into the Tesla G3 processing platform's system memory in binary format.

Advanced digital filters and oversampling algorithms enhance the audio data, optimising performance. The dual 60fs Femto Clocks independently time the DAC operation and data output, ensuring immunity to input signal distortion and jitter. The VEGA G2.2 showcases the superiority of analogue volume control for high-performance audio playback. Its true analogue ladder resistor volume control reduces both the signal level and noise floor, preserving the system's dynamic range without compromise. The VEGA G2.2 maintains the analogue preamplifier function, with an increased output level to 6Vrms for compatibility with power-hungry amplifiers.
