IsoAcoustics GAIA I

GAIA I delivers a machined stainless steel structure, finished in stately dark chrome. Incorporating IsoAcoustics patented design principles, GAIA provides a high degree of isolation while resisting lateral movement and oscillations to maintain alignment with the listening position. Internal reflections from the hard-supporting surface are attenuated resulting in greater sound clarity and openness.

The Gaia I supports Speakers up to 91kg.

NOTE – This is for one set of 4 isolators – for a set of speakers you will need 2 sets.

Manufacturers Details:

The GAIA isolators are machined units that incorporate IsoAcoustics’ patented design to provide a high degree of speaker isolation, while resisting lateral movement and oscillations, to maintain alignment with the listening position. Internal reflections from the hard supporting surface are attenuated resulting in greater sound clarity and openness.

Engineered With Care:

Optimal results are achieved by installing the GAIA isolators with the logo facing the listening position, or rotated 180 degrees, to align the isolators with the speaker’s motive forces. Lift and place the speakers into position as the GAIA lower isolators will adhere to the supporting surface.

When a speaker is placed on a hard surface, secondary internal reflections result. Any artifacts of this smear that is similar in the two channels is perceived to be in the center, causing the sound stage to collapse. The GAIA series of isolators eliminates this smear resulting in a larger 3-dimensional sound stage.

They work!

I decided to take the plunge with the IsoAcoustics Gaia I feet on my Amphion Krypton 3 speakers, which previously had spikes on a tiled floor. The rest of my kit is very revealing (PS Audio based, with many tweaks). I was surprised at the difference, with the soundstage coming further into focus, more holographic isolation of voices and instruments, and great control of bass. Most definitely a worthwhile upgrade for me, and my wife really likes the looks too (and can hear the difference).
